Privacy Policy

Short version: Fliplo does not collect, store or sell your personal data. Your projects stay on your device. We have no servers that receive your drawings.

Who we are

Fliplo: Frame-by-Frame Animate ("Fliplo", "the app") is published by LateNightBirds LLC ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy: mail@latenightbirds.com.

Data we do not collect

• No accounts or sign-in.
• No name, email address or other contact details.
• No uploads of your drawings or projects to any server we run.
• No location tracking.
• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Data stored on your device

Your projects, frames, layers, audio and settings are stored only on your device, using Apple's on-device database. They leave your device only when you export or share a file yourself. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Photos

When you import a picture, Fliplo uses Apple's photo picker, so the app only receives the image you choose and cannot see the rest of your library. When you tap "Save to Photos", iOS asks for permission to add the exported file to your library. Fliplo does not read your existing photos.

Microphone

If you record an audio track for a project (a Pro feature), iOS asks for microphone access. Recordings are stored on your device as part of that project and are never transmitted by us.

In-app purchase

Fliplo Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. The app asks Apple's StoreKit on your device whether Pro is unlocked. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.

Analytics and crash reports

Fliplo contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone or iPad settings, Apple may give us anonymised usage statistics and crash reports through App Store Connect. This is controlled by you and governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Children

Fliplo is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data, it collects none from children.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to provide, correct or delete. You can delete everything Fliplo stores at any time by deleting the app.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
